Vacancy for Project Positions

Community Development and Environment Conservation Forum (CDECF), a leading NGO based in Sindhupalchok district, is working in various sectors i.e., Agriculture, WASH, Maternal and child health, Livelihood, Social Mobilization, Conflict Management, Human Right, Community-Based Disaster Risk Management, and Community Infrastructures development for more than 16 years. Currently, CDECF is seeking qualified, result-oriented, and self-motivated Nepalese citizens for the following positions under the framework of Earthquake Recovery Program, supported by Mercy Crops Nepal. The project focuses its intervention on DRR, Financial Services, and Livelihoods in Hagam, Ramche, Maneshwra, Ghumthang, Karthali, and Ghorthali VDCs of Sindhupalchok district. Vacancy Announcement for Child Protection Project

Currently, CDECF is looking to fill some vacant positions with energetic, highly enthusiastic, and professional candidates for the Child Protection Project. CDECF is a leading non-profit, governmental organisation working directly with local communities in various infrastructure development, livelihood improvement, environment conservation, health and sanitation, child and women issues in the Sidhupalchowk district. Contract signed with GEF/UNHABITA to implement ODF campaign

A contract between CDECF and Global Sanitation Fund/UNHABITAT was signed on 10th April 2013 to implement Open Defecation Free (ODF) campaign in 35 VDCs of Sindhupalchowk district.

ODF activities

First lot master triggerer’s training was conducted from 13th May to 19th May and second lot training was conducted from 27th May to 2nd June. V-WASH CC formation, strategic planning oh VDC and community triggering is going on.

Contract between CDECF and Global Environment Fund signed

A contract between CDECF and Global Environment Fund/UNDP signed to implement a program Improving Economics of Blacksmiths community through improving traditional Charcoal Making Practices.
